First non-Maine Campus byline
So, I can’t provide you guys with a link (Weekly stuff isn’t posted on the Bangor Daily News Web site, and no one is paid to put it on Maineville anymore), but I was published in the Weekly for the first time today.
The story is nothing earth-shattering. A local elementary school puts on a pretty extravagant cultural learning program in its library each year, this year it was “Passport to the British Isles.” Lots of fourth-graders kissing fake Blarney Stones and learning about Jolly Old’. It was lighthearded, much more so than what I usually write, but fun.
Anyway, regardless of the story, it was nice to be published somewhere other than The Maine Campus.
